Educate Don’t Incarcerate was founded in 2016 by Terrance Coffie. EDI focuses its attentions on criminal justice reform through educational opportunities, mentoring and policy reform with the fundamental idea that through educational support, lives can change.

EDI seeks to provide knowledge and guidance in order to persuade students to excel in the areas of; advocacy, education, entrepreneurship, personal, and skill development.  In addition to serving motivation to our men and youths, EDI addresses challenges of re-entry for the formerly incarcerated and is a staunch advocate for social justice. We have assembled a team of visionaries and game changers who share their academic and personal experiences as a medium to inspire others.

Having seen the cycle of poverty, substance abuse, unemployment, homelessness and incarceration in underrepresented communities first-hand, Educate Don't Incarcerate has committed itself to promoting social, economic and educational reform, in hopes to address these issues on a larger scale.
